About toolo
toolo.dev is a set of simple developer tools. Open a tool, paste your input, get the result, copy it, and get back to work.
Why it exists
While building software, I kept needing small tools: encode a string, format some JSON, decode a JWT. Every time, search led me to heavy pages full of ads and pop-ups, for a few seconds of work. So I built the toolbox I wanted and made it free for everyone.
Who builds it
I'm Abdul Basit Memon, a software engineer. I taught myself to code and have been building software since 2014. Today I work on AI agents, platform architecture and cloud infrastructure. toolo is my own project, built in my free time.
How the tools handle your data
- Almost every tool runs in your browser. What you paste is not sent to a server and is not stored.
- One exception: the SEO Content Checker has a URL mode. To read a page, our server fetches that public URL once. Nothing is saved.
- No ads and no sign-up. We count visits with Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to see which tools people use.
Details are on the privacy page.
For AI tools and agents
The same tools are available to AI agents through the toolo MCP server, and AI search can read a plain-text summary of the site at /llms.txt.
